Identifying emerging classical artists through contests and talent search, then giving them a stage, an audience, and the mentorship of established practitioners.
Promoting classical music and dance
Presenting Carnatic and Hindustani music alongside India's classical dance traditions, so that each is met on its own terms rather than flattened into one.
Building a shared platform
One place where artists, organisers, venues and audiences can find each other — rather than many small efforts working in isolation.
Connecting teachers and students
Sustaining the guru–shishya relationship that carries this knowledge, and helping students find teachers wherever they live.
Reaching wider audiences
Bringing cultural learning to listeners who did not grow up with it, in the United States, India and beyond.
Cultural learning in academics
Working toward recognition for sustained classical training within mainstream education, so a student's art and their schooling stop being separate lives.
